Goodies 29: Search shortcut for Script Workspace
For MBS FileMaker Plugin 10.3 we added a shortcut with Command-Shift-F to jump focus in the search field for the script list in the Claris FileMaker Pro Script Workspace on macOS.
Below you find a collection of all the keyboard shortcuts we add:
In Script Workspace: | |
| ⌘ F | to set focus to search field for current script. |
| ⌘ ⇧ F | to set focus to script list search. |
| ⌘ + | zooms in. |
| ⌘ - | zooms out. |
| ⌘ = | zooms to 100%. |
In Data Viewer with focus on the list (blue line around): | |
| ⌘ F | shows find bar. |
| ⌘ G | goes to next found text. |
| ⌘ ⇧ G | goes to previous found text (new in v14.0) |
| ⌘ ⌥ F | to show/hide fields. |
| ⌘ ⌥ G | to show/hide global variables. |
| ⌘ + | zooms in. |
| ⌘ - | zooms out. |
| ⌘ = | zooms to 100%. |
| ⌘ ⌥ C | copy text in the list. |
In text areas like custom function editor: | |
| ⌘ ⌥ R | shows rulers. |
| ⌘ ⌥ I | shows invisible characters |
| ⌘ F | shows find bar and go to find. |
| ⌘ ⇧ F | shows find bar and go to replace. |
| ⌘ G | goes to next found text. |
| ⌘ ⇧ G | goes to previous found text (new in v14.0) |
| ⌘ [ | reduce indention of text. |
| ⌘ ] | indent text to right. |
| ⌘ + | Increase font size (new in v14.0) |
| ⌘ - | Decrease font size (new in v14.0) |
| ⌃ up | move selected text up by a row with control up. |
| ⌃ down | move selected text down by a row with control down. |
| ⌘ C | copy as text. |
| ⌘ ⌥ C | copy as styled text. |
| ⌘ ⌥ ⇧ C | copy as html text. |
In a list showing in the FileMaker, e.g. list of fields: | |
| ⌘ ⌥ C | copies content. |
| ⌘ F | shows find bar. |
| ⌘ G | goes to next found text. |
| ⌘ ⇧ G | goes to previous found text (new in v14.0) |
| ⌘ + | zooms in. |
